Lewis vacates PV Planning Commission seat

The Paradise Valley Town Council will discuss replacing one of the planning commission seats to become available since Orme Lewis Jr. recently submitted his resignation.

On Thursday, April 22, Town Council will talk about replacing the longtime politician, public servant and community leader whose contributions include a father with an indelible mark in shaping Arizona history.

A resignation letter addressed to Mayor Jerry Bien-Willner, dated April 13, was submitted by Mr. Lewis Jr. expressing his intentions of resigning the Town Planning Commission position as of that day.

Mr. Lewis Jr.’s term was through April 2023, according to a Town Council staff report.
