A rezoning and preliminary plat for the six-lot Los Nietos residential subdivision south of the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway and east of Gilbert Road should be approved, the Mesa Planning and Zoning Board recommended recently.
Jared Cox of Vista Design Group LLC is the applicant. Brent and Deborah Berge are the owners. Discussion on the rezoning and plat were continued from the Feb. 24 and March 10 meetings.
The rezoning from single residence 35 to single residence 15 and the preliminary plat with a bonus intensity overlay were approved unanimously by the board at a March 24 meeting. The Mesa City Council will make the final decision at a future meeting.
