SAN TAN VALLEY — A new complex of Pinal County offices off Bella Vista Road east of Central Arizona College was designed to make government more accessible to the people it serves, County Manager Leo Lew told about 80 guests on Thursday morning.
Serving the people is what it’s about, County Supervisor Mike Goodman, R-San Tan Valley, told guests. “I never anticipated the blessings that would come into my life” when he was elected, he said. “If you’re someone who cares for people, you know what I’m talking about.”
Supervisors Chairman Steve Miller, R-Casa Grande, agreed. “One of the most rewarding things about being an elected official is helping an individual maneuver through the bureaucracy and get something done. This facility will give citizens far more access to their representatives. These facilities are well worth the time and the money.”
