Scottsdale to meet about flight paths

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Scottsdale City Council will meet privately today to discuss the city’s next steps related to legal action on flight routes into and out of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

The city has challenged the FAA’s flight route plans at the Phoenix airport preferring they be shifted to be more over the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community.

The case is before the D.C. Court of Appeals. The council will meet in executive session to discuss next steps in the case.
