Trump supporters could pay for the Senate’s election audit, but it’s totally independent?

Opinion: It’s not enough that the Arizona Senate’s election audit is being run by a Trump conspiracy theorist. Now the Trump nation plans to pay for it as well? And no one sees a problem here?

Arizona dives ever deeper down the rabbit hole as word now comes that Trump conspiracy theorists are raising money to help pay for the Arizona Senate’s recount of the presidential election.

Not only are Trump ninjas conducting the election audit, it seems his loyal foot soldiers will be paying for what Senate President Karen Fann has billed an “independent” audit of the 2020 election.

Sure. Totally independent. Nothing to see here.

Bennett is the Senate’s audit liaison

At least, that’s what former Secretary of State Ken Bennett assures me.
