AZ build-to-rent innovator headed to Dallas

Arizona-based Christopher Todd Communities, one of the originators of the burgeoning build-to-rent real estate segment, is headed to Dallas-Fort Worth, with preliminary plans for an initial 140-home community in Grand Prairie.

DFW will be an initial expansion market for Christopher Todd Communities, based in Mesa. The build-to-rent innovator has developed or has in the pipeline over 2,500 such rental homes in the Phoenix metro, CEO Todd Wood said in an exclusive interview with the Dallas Business Journal.
