Gilbert to award road extension contract

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Gilbert Town Council will vote May 18 on awarding Kimley-Horn and Associates a $1.88 million design, architectural and engineering services contract for the extension of Ocotillo Road between Greenfield Road and Higley Road.

The project entails completing a missing portion of the road near the Roosevelt Water Conservation Districts (RWCD) canal.

The effort will require construction of new bridges in order to complete the extension.

Kimley-Horn was selected as the preferred bidder by city staff.
