Scottsdale to vote on $2M design contract for public safety upgrades

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Scottsdale City Council will consider approving a $2.06 million contract for modernization of the city’s Police & Fire training facilities.

The contract is Fucello Architects to provide “final design services” for renovating the training track and modernizing the city’s public safety training center and building a new fire training facility.

Those were approved by Scottsdale voters as part of a bond program approved by city voters in 2019.

Fucello Architects was previously awarded initial design contracts for the projects. The $2 million contract is on the council’s June 8 agenda.
