Housing plans filed for patio homes in southern Scottsdale

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

Design plans have been submitted for a 26-unit patio home development near Hayden Road and Oak Street in Scottsdale.

The project is called 26 Oaks.

Residential Pursuits Investments LLC — an arm of Arcadia Capital LLC — is proposing the residential development at 2340 North Hayden Road. The residential project is slated for 3.7 acres on land acquired from the First Church of the Nazarene.

The church is adjacent to the planned residential project in southern Scottsdale.

Clouse Engineering Inc. is serving as the engineer for the project.

The developer is asking for preliminary plat approvals for a 26-unit project with Townhouse Residential and Multiple-Family Residential zoning designations.

The developer estimates it will take another 6 to 12 months to receive final plat approvals and building permits in order to start construction, according to documents filed with the City of Scottsdale.

There have been a number of church properties across the region that have been sold or seen development projects on portions of their properties.
