John Kobierowski takes crowdfunding to new heights with apartment investing

Growing up in a family of factory workers, John Kobierowski always wanted to become a real estate developer.
“I was always good at fixing things — bicycles, clubhouses, cars,” said Kobierowski, senior managing partner of ABI Multifamily. “Real estate made sense to me.”

While attending Arizona State University in the late 1980s, Kobierowski started out researching public records at the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office, sitting in front of a microfiche machine.
