ASH-Dorn Homes to open at Madera Estates in Sahuarita

ASH – Dorn Homes (David Grounds, President / CEO) has announced it will soon be expanding to Madera Estates in beautiful Sahuarita, AZ. Featuring panoramic mountain views and picturesque desert surroundings, Madera Estates is the pinnacle of Southwestern living.

Dorn Homes purchased 24 one-acre+ lots for $1.768 million ($73,666 per lot) from MK Company Southwest of Scottsdale, AZ for construction of 24 semi-custom homes.

In February of this year, American Southern Homes (“ASH”) acquired the homebuilding assets of Dorn Homes, Inc. and its affiliates (“Dorn”) for an undisclosed purchase price. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, American Southern Homes engaged in the design and construction of homes in Alabama, Georgia, and now Arizona markets with the Dorn Homes partnership.

Dorn has been in business for over 50 years and specializes in award winning new homes in Prescott, Prescott Valley, Sedona, Wickenburg, and Tubac, Arizona. Dorn is one of the most awarded homebuilder in Arizona, having received over 50 awards over its five decades of homebuilding. The awards include Best Architecture in the United States, Best Model Home Design in the United States, Best Online Home Concierge in the United States, Best Home Builder in Arizona, Best Masterplanned Community in Arizona, Best Place to Work (two years in a row), and the Excellence in Philanthropy Award.
