The Chandler City Council is looking at a rezoning request and project plans for a new development with Class A offices, research laboratories and technology manufacturing space at Price Road and Queen Creek Road.
Ryan Companies is requesting a 37-acre site in the East Valley be rezoned from Agricultural use (AG-1) to a Planned Area Development designation for “office, manufacturing, and ancillary commercial uses with a Mid-Rise Overlay for building heights up to 150 feet located at the northeast corner of Price and Queen Creek roads.”
The site is currently zoned and used for farming. Ryan’s development plans call for 596,400 square feet of office and commercial space with buildings as tall as 150-feet.
The rezoning is on the council’s study session agenda today (April 9) with potential final city approval looming.
