COOLIDGE — Coolidge has new city boundaries after the City Council voted Monday to bring in land in the western part of town.
The city annexed and approved an infrastructure and services plan for 83.7 acres of land, known as the Davis Annexation, and in later items approved the annexation itself. Economic Development Director Gilbert Lopez said Coolidge has gained a reputation of working well with landowners who want to be annexed into the city.
The Davis Annexation area has a total assessed value of $352,438. The land, currently rural residential and undeveloped desert, is roughly bordered by 11 Mile Corner, Arizona Western Boulevard, Skousen Road and McCartney Road, near a number of solar units.
