Dutch Bros looks to relocate busy Mesa location to new center

Plans have been submitted in Mesa to relocate a busy Dutch Bros location at Gilbert Road and McKellips Road to a nearby and large site.

A popular Dutch Bros Coffee location is located at the intersection.

Plans are to move the coffee shop and its drive thru lanes to a 2.43-acre site adjacent to the nearby Outback Steakhouse restaurant.

That parcel is currently vacant with plans calling for the coffee shop and a tire store at the Orange Tree Marketplace development area in Mesa.

The proposed development “includes a proposed 882 square foot Dutch Brothers building, plus a 1,200 square foot patio with a dual drive-thru (Dutch Bro’s goal is to eventually relocate from the hard corner at OTM) and a 7,700 square foot Gunnell Tire & Auto retail facility.”

Site and design review plans have been submitted to the city of Mesa.

The project is called Orange Tree Marketplace II and is owned by Glenwood Commercial Real Estate (Robert Klepinger).
