By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

Scottsdale City Council is scheduled to consider general plan and zoning changes for development of a 219-unit apartment complex near Shea Boulevard and 92nd Street.

The council will look at the request at its meeting today (Aug. 24).

It is for the proposed District at 9400 Shea development. The multifamily development is within a commercial and retail area.

The council is being asked to rezone an 11-acre parcel from commercial to a mixed-use neighborhoods designation to allow for the new apartments.

Kaplan Management Co. is the developer of the proposed project at 9375 East Shea Boulevard.

The owner is listed as 94 Hundred Shea LLP.
