Treeland design plans submitted in Chandler

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

Tri Pointe Homes has submitted design plans in Chandler for its planned residential development at the Treeland nursery property.

Tri Pointe’s Maracay Homes has submitted plans with the city for 86 single family homes on a 27.73-acre site.

The City of Chandler annexed the land — which was previously unincorporated — and rezoned it for residential development last year.

Maracay is calling the single family development Treeland after the nursery on the property at the southeast corner of 124th Street and Chandler Heights Road.

It is touting a variety of housing styles at the planned development in its plans including a farmhouse option for buyers.

Chandler’s Design Review Committee looked at the plans on Aug. 18 as the builder navigates the municipal process.

Closer-in East Valley submarkets such as Chandler and Gilbert do not have very many large swaths of land available but do have infill development opportunities.
