Voting machine company sues cable channel, personalities promoting Arizona audit for $1.6 billion

By Ryan Randazzo | Arizona Republic

Dominion Voting Systems Inc. is suing a partisan cable channel and its on-air personalities — some of whom helped raise money for a review of the election in Maricopa County — for more than $1.6 billion for making false claims about the 2020 election.

Dominion filed suit in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia against the parent company of One America News Network, or OAN, as well as the cable channel’s executives and two people who appear on the channel purporting to be news reporters.

Guests on the channel as well as the personalities have repeatedly suggested that Dominion machines, which were used in Maricopa County, somehow flipped or changed votes from Donald Trump to Joe Biden, despite a lack of any evidence to corroborate such claims.
