A handful of right-wing notables appear in a Twitter video to wish Kari Lake, a Republican candidate for Arizona governor, happy birthday.
Right-wing notables and Alice Cooper.
Yes, that Alice Cooper. “I Love the Dead” and “Billion Dollar Babies” and all that. He’s right there in the mix with Rep. Paul Gosar, Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb and Robbie Starbuck, running for U.S. Congress from Tennessee.
“My team worked overtime to get this video put together!” Lake tweeted Monday.
Not so long that they spelled Cooper’s wife’s name correctly. It’s Sheryl, not Cheryl.
Details, details.
In fairness, the Coopers don’t get political in the compilation video, unlike a few others. They just wish Lake, a former news anchor at Fox 10 News in Phoenix, a happy birthday and sing the little “This is your birthday song/It isn’t very long” ditty, joking about how long it took them to write it.
