CVS looking to hire new workers in Arizona

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

CVS Health, which has a large store and operational footprint in Phoenix, is looking to hire as many as 600 new workers statewide.

CVS has launched a new nationwide hiring effort which includes a one-day hiring event on Friday, Sept. 24.

CVS is looking to hire 25,000 new employees for clinical and retail jobs nationwide.

Those include nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and retail managers and workers.

Prospective employees can also start their application via their smartphone by texting “CVS” to 25000 to learn about specific local jobs available.

The Rhode Island-based pharmacy chain announced in July it was implementing a $15 per hour minimum wage in July 2022.

CVS has retail, pharmacy and office locations in the Phoenix area.

Employers across the state and the country have been struggling to fill jobs — especially frontline and entry level positions.
