Plans have been filed in Scottsdale for the first phase of the Gentry on the Green redevelopment on Hayden Road and Camelback Road.
The first phase calls for 582 apartments and 7,300 square feet of commercial space.
Development firm ColRich won approvals from the city to redevelop old apartment complex parcels at the southwest corner of Hayden and Camelback.
The Gentry project aims to also highlight cycling and bicycle tourism in Scottsdale and better connect Old Town to greenbelt areas and the Indian Bend Wash.
The site and landscaping plans call for two components to the first phase.
“Phase 1a consists of 262 residential units with 5,700 s.f. of commercial/retail space. Phase 1b consists of 320 residential units with 1,600 s.f. of commercial/retail space. Both phases will be heavily amenitized with fitness facilities, numerous outdoor courtyard areas, view decks, and a public Paseo open space along the two phases’ southern edge,” the proposal reads.
The first phase of development consists of 16.2 acres. The Gentry on the Green redevelopment which also includes outdoor amenities totals 41.5 acres.
