Minnesota developer breaks ground on Phoenix affordable apartments

While in the midst of wrapping up construction on an apartment community in Mesa, Plymouth, Minnesota-based Dominium has broken ground on another affordable apartment community — with plans to acquire another 3,000 units in the Valley.

At a total development cost of $54.3 million, the 308-unit Vista Ridge Apartments are being built at 2050 W. Southern Ave. in Phoenix.

Plans call for a spring 2023 completion date. Rental rates will follow the levels set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at the 60% area median income level.
