Paradise Valley mayor opens up about fall objectives

Maintaining Paradise Valley’s original characteristics and values is at the top of Mayor Jerry Bien-Willner’s priorities.
As the Town Council begins anew for the fall, Bien-Willner says consistency is the name of the game this fiscal year.
“The town is doing exceptionally well,” Bien-Willner said of fall issues.

“Property values are up, we’re well protected and safe; and the town continues to be recognized as one of the best places to live in the country.”

The Paradise Valley Town Council takes a break during the summer months, which coincides with the start of a new fiscal year on July 1. On Sept. 9, the council had its first meeting back, and the other town boards and commissions have meetings slated as well.

When the fiscal year came to a close late last summer, it marked a full year of doing business remotely during the pandemic. In March 2020, Paradise Valley quickly moved to remote operations, and much of the Town Council work remained that way.
