Queen Creek offers development opportunities in downtown core

By Your Valley

Queen Creek is offering economic development opportunities in the town’s downtown corridor as is makes town-owned land available.

The town has released two requests for proposals (RFPs) for the land.

“We are excited to continue to develop the vision for our downtown core,” stated Economic Development Director Doreen Cott in a press release. “These properties will be key in furthering our Town Center. The downtown core zoning provides flexibility for developers to create walkable uses that enhance the area with specialty retail and dining.”

RFP No. 22-005 includes approximately 8,050 square feet of land located along Ellsworth Road, south of Ocotillo Road. The preferred use is a pedestrian friendly development that includes shade, engaging pedestrian walkways and architecture unique to Queen Creek. Residential uses are not preferred.
