SRP announces construction of Arizona’s largest solar plant

Arizona nonprofit power company Salt River Project said it is planning to develop its largest standalone solar power plant near Flagstaff, with energy production projected at 400 megawatts when it goes live in 2024.

SRP has partnered with Boise, Idaho-based solar developer and manager Clēnera LLC, a subsidiary of Enlight Renewable Energy LTD (TASE: ENLT), to build and operate the facility, which has been named CO Bar Solar.
