Upgraded, decorative fencing planned at Scottsdale Airport

The City of Scottsdale is considering approving a $479,000 contract for new perimeter fencing at Scottsdale Airport.

City staff wants to award the contract to Western Fence Co. Inc. — the preferred of two bids on the procurement.

The construction project entails replacing existing chain link fences around the airport with improved decorative fencing along Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Redfield Road..

The contract’s approval is on the Scottsdale City Council at its Oct. 5 meeting.
