Sports betting company DraftKings Inc. announced Monday it is locating a 1,000-worker office in Las Vegas.
Boston-based DraftKings is locating a new 90,000-square-foot office with growth plans at the UnCommons development in southwest Las Vegas.
Matter Real Estate Group is developing the 40-acre mixed-use development.
“Our new office space and Las Vegas expansion further exemplifies DraftKings’ investment in its employees and the future of the company, as well as the local community,” said Matt Kalish, DraftKings co-founder and president, North America. “Our goal is to create another world-class workplace environment that will foster DraftKings’ innovation, further bolster our local presence, and deepen community involvement. The Vegas office will be DraftKings’ second largest location. Numerous U.S. states, including Arizona, have legalized sports betting or are moving in that direction.
DraftKings’ Vegas space is being designed by IA Interior Architects.

Gensler is the architect for the overall UnCommons development which puts a focus on innovative workplace designs and technology.
