A luxury apartment developer has submitted plans for new 8- and 11-story multifamily buildings in Scottsdale at a prime and long undeveloped property near Scottsdale Fashion Square.

Orlando-based ZOM Living (Nick Rahman) is proposing 536 residential units and 13,000-square feet of commercial space at a vacant 3.74-acre parcel north of Camelback Road and Scottsdale Road.

The ZOM project is called Hazel & Azure.

The site is across from Scottsdale Fashion Square and was previously slated to become a three-building, 700-unit development called Blue Sky,

Blue Sky has not ever come to fruition at the downtown Scottsdale site at 4605 North Scottsdale Road.

ZOM, which develops luxury apartments and other projects in Florida, Texas, and the Washington D.C. area, has an office in Phoenix.

The two proposed buildings are 83 feet and 127 feet, respectively.

ZOM has submitted development and design plans with the City of Scottsdale for the project.
