Republican Rodney Glassman announces bid for Arizona attorney general

Another Republican candidate has joined the race to replace Mark Brnovich as Arizona’s next attorney general. 

Rodney Glassman announced his candidacy Thursday in a campaign video and press release, saying he “will emphasize the importance of protecting citizens from the government and fighting for states’ rights.”

Glassman is an attorney and member of the United States Air Force JAG Corps who has unsuccessfully run for office in various elections since 2010.

The campaign video released Wednesday depicts a mock support group for former Democrats, where Glassman tells the others sitting in a circle that he left that party during President Trump’s candidacy in 2016.
