The Western WIFFLE Ball Classic returns THIS SATURDAY to Scottsdale Stadium.
Tom Ferguson caught up with national Wiffle Ball Champion Jim Balian, and his teen son who can pitch a wiffle ball at about 70 miles per hour.
Balian is a Deer Balley High School grad and proud Peorian, who won National Championships in 2002 and 2003. He says the love for the game can be shared by everyone in the family.
“Everybody from a young kid to someone in their 60’s can play the game.” he said.
Games are about 30-45 minutes with four innings.
“It was a great time last year and it’s an even better time this year,” said Balian.
Tom Fergus, Fox10 reporter, even gave the game a shot on live TV!
