Copa Flats Apartments clear latest hurdle

The city council moved the proposed Copa Flats apartments another step closer to becoming a reality Tuesday night.

The council approved a minor General Plan Land Use Amendment, changing the land use for 27.09 acres at the southeast corner of N. Porter and W. Applegate roads, just north of Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway, from Public/Institutional use (P) to Mixed Use (MU).
