An alternative way to sell your home may be here to stay despite recent snags of one such internet-based services company that recently laid off a huge portion of its workforce, including its Valley employees.
Earlier this month, Zillow Group said it will stop buying and selling homes, citing the “unpredictability” of forecasting housing prices, according to an Associated Press report.
The report said the Seattlebased real estate information company’s winding down of its Zillow Offers homebuying and selling unit will take several quarters and will result in about a 25% reduction in the company’s workforce, which is now at about 5,300.
