Houston-based Portico Property Management is entering the Phoenix market adding two former Alliance Residential and Greystar executives to help grow its regional footprint.
Portico oversees more than 10,000 apartment units in 40 multifamily communities nationwide.
The Texas company has taken over property management at its first Arizona property and has hired Robert Hicks and Trisha Roud-Satterlund to lead its Phoenix growth.
Hicks and Roud-Satterlund were previously with Phoenix-based Alliance Residential and Greystar, which acquired the former in 2020.
“Phoenix had long been a coveted target market for us as its demographic and high job-growth profile dovetail nicely with our Texas base of operations,” said Darren Williams, president of Portico Property Management. “We are also extremely fortunate to have two stalwarts in the Arizona market leading the launch of this important initiative.”
Hicks previously served as a senior managing director of real estate at Greystar, with oversight of the company’s operations in tArizona, Nevada, and New Mexico, totaling more than 75,000 units across 200 communities. Robert was a division president for Alliance Residential.

Roud-Satterlund previously served as a senior director at Greystar as well as a regional vice president for Alliance Residential.. She has more than eight years of experience in the multifamily industry and an extensive knowledge of the Arizona market.
