The city of Tempe is slowly revamping its many parks, pools, golf courses and community centers to better serve its residents.
Green spaces are top of mind for the community. The most recent Tempe resident survey, the results of which were just released on Wednesday, indicated that 77% of residents used one of the city’s parks during the past year — the most of any city-offered amenity.
Parks were followed by trash, recycling and compost with 70% of people reporting they had used them, and walking and biking trails with 64% of respondents.
