Mattamy to build MPC in Goodyear

Mattamy Homes has closed on 122 acres in Goodyear, paying $20.45 million for a parcel the Canadian homebuilder will develop into its own $250 million master-planned community.

Setting it apart from other homebuilders out in that area will be a variety of bigger lot sizes, offering more spacious homes, said Don Barrineau, Phoenix division president for Mattamy Homes, which is based in Toronto.
