Multi-Gen homes offer families more room

Space for the whole family is becoming a necessity for some Valley homebuyers and a few local builders are aiming to meet the demand.

About 10 years ago, Lennar Homes landed at the forefront of multi-generational homes — an architectural style that seems to have captured the attention of different age groups.

The home style includes a separate living space, a suite of sorts, that’s included under the same roof as the original home. The finishes in the suite are the same, but typically the area comes with a separate kitchen and front door.
