New interchange in Gilbert could be delayed for months

Crews are working on a new interchange to ease congestion in Gilbert, but progress could be delayed for months as supply chain issues have slowed the work.

The Lindsay Road Interchange, off Loop 202 between Gilbert and Val Vista roads, is billed as a way to ease congestion in and around Gilbert’s “central business district,” which roughly follows the 202’s path from Gilbert and Germann roads to Greenfield and Ray roads. The district has steadily landed large developments in recent years, and the roads around it are often busy.
