Phoenix tops nation in home price growth again; analysts say end may be in sight

Phoenix topped the nation in home price percentage growth in September 2021.

It’s been a steady refrain for months on end: Phoenix tops the nation in home price growth yet again.

Local economists are wondering when this wild ride is going to end for a city that has been known for its affordability, a key reason why so many job-seekers have relocated to the region from California and other states.
