A large-scale commercial recreation center is to be constructed near Mesa Regal and Tower Point RV resorts east of Greenfield Road on the north side of Main Street in Mesa.
The preliminary design for the 6.8-acre development recently was discussed by the Mesa Design Review Board.
“The site plan shows the new 20,000-square-foot fitness center and the proposed 21 pickleball courts,” Staff Planner Jennifer Gniffke said during the board’s Dec. 14 meeting. “There’s an existing dog park along the west side of the site and that’s proposed to remain; and there is cross-access with the Mesa Regal and Tower Point RV parks located to the northwest and the northeast of this site.”
