Two more people have joined the pack potentially seeking a seat on the Scottsdale’s City Council during next fall’s election.
Councilwoman Solange Whitehead has filed for reelection, while Paula Sturgeon has filed paperwork to seek candidacy. Sturgeon is a longtime Scottsdale resident who served as chairwoman of For the Best Scottsdale PAC, which promoted the passage of the city’s bond program in 2019.
Whitehead and Sturgeon join Councilwoman Kathy Littlefield, who is also seeking reelection, and Tim Stratton, a former chair of the Scottsdale Industrial Development Authority, who is seeking candidacy.
