Development plans for R&D, industrial, office space progress in Chandler

Plans are progressing in Chandler for a proposed 16.3-acre new development with research and development, office and industrial space.

LGE Design Build wants to build the Germann & Hamilton Industrial Park in the East Valley. The project will be located at the northeast of Germann Road and Hamilton Street.

The land is owned by HF Twelve LLC, according to Maricopa County Assessor records.

That LLC is managed by family trusts related to Donald R. and Mary E. Helmholdt, according to Arizona Corporation Commission records.

The land is currently not developed and is being used as farmland. It is zoned for Planned Area Development

Chandler’s Planning and ZoningCommission and Airport Commission have approved development plans. The project will be considered by the Chandler City Council.
