Dual-brand Wyndham planned in Mesa

A Wingate-Hawthorn dual brand Wyndham hotel is planned on 4.5 acres north of Pecos Road on the east side of Sossaman Road in Mesa.

The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board on Dec. 15 voted unanimously in a consent agenda with other items to recommend the city council approve a use permit, site plan review, planned area development overlay, bonus intensity zone overlay and rezoning for the property. Absent from the meeting were board members Tim Boyle and Benjamin Ayers.

Will Moseley of Mesa Skybridge LLC was the applicant. Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport Authority is the owner.
