Glendale looks at 1.2M SF development

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The City of Glendale is being asked to annex and rezone 146 acres of undeveloped farmland for a proposed commercial and industrial development.

The site is located at Glendale Avenue and Alsup Avenue near the Loop 303 freeway and Luke Air Force Base.

Crow Holdings wants the city to rezone the property with the Planned Area Development designation to allow for a 1.2 million-foot light industrial project.

The project is called Crow 303 AZ. There are other large industrial developments under construction or in the pipeline in the West Valley.

The Glendale Planning Commission will hold a meeting on the project on Jan. 12.

The land is currently unincorporated and zoned for single family residential use.
