Feeding pigeons was banned in parks and on public property in 2021.
Now, the Glendale City Council is looking at whether to extend the bird feeding restrictions to private property.
City staff will brief the council on the issue on Jan. 11 and see if there is consensus for a potential ordinance.
The current code includes a potential $50 to $150 fine and misdemeanor charge for feeding pigeons on public property.
A number of cities in Arizona and other states have passed ordinances restricting the feeding of pigeons and other birds.
