Phoenix to again consider land sale for State Route 30

After the sale was delayed last October, Phoenix City Council is again scheduled to vote on selling nearly 86 acres of land to the Arizona Department of Transportation for the future construction of State Route 30.

City Council was supposed to vote on the sale at its October 26 meeting, but the item was removed from the agenda to allow staff more time to prepare, a city spokesman said at the time. The vote is now scheduled for Wednesday during the Council meeting that starts at 2:30 p.m.
