By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The City of Scottsdale is set to award a $9.5 million contract with MGC Contractors for the construction of an aquifer store and recovery well at Miller Road and Deer Valley Road.

The contract is on the Scottsdale City Council’s Jan. 11 meeting agenda.

The project is located at the northwest corner of Miller Road and Deer Valley Road and entails drilling and equipping the water infrastructure.

The city plans on drilling four aquifer storage and recovery wells to help bolster water supplies and reserves over the next two years.
