Bonds sought to pay for south Apache Junction infrastructure

Superstition Vistas Community Facilities District Nos. 1 and 2 may each sell up to $400 million in general obligation bonds to pay for infrastructure, with the cost borne by property owners in the districts in south Apache Junction.

The No. 1 and 2 district boards, both comprised of members of the Apache Junction City Council, recently voted unanimously to approve resolutions canvassing, declaring and adopting the results of general obligation bond and operation and maintenance ad valorem tax elections held Feb. 2.

The boards also ordered the recording of a certificate of result for the elections at the meetings held separately on Feb. 15.
