Casa Grande officially plugs into EV network with charging stations at City Hall

CASA GRANDE — With Lucid Motors now firmly entrenched as a major employer and regional economic booster, Casa Grande leaders want to prioritize the city’s role in facilitating an electric vehicle transition.

On Thursday the city’s first two universal charging stations went online just outside City Hall. Local officials, as well as representatives from Lucid Motors and Arizona Public Service Co., were on hand to commemorate the event.

“This is our first step of many to become more sustainable and be energy efficient and carbon neutral,” said Mayor Craig McFarland.
