First phase of Nikola plant nearing completion

COOLIDGE — Nikola Corporation Chief Executive Officer Mark Russell reports that Phase 1 of Coolidge’s truck plant is anticipated to be completed by the end of the current quarter of this year.

“During the fourth quarter, we began delivering Pre-Series Tre BEVs to customers and dealers, and we are ramping up production in Coolidge,” Russell stated, according to a press release. “We anticipate beginning series production of the Tre BEV on March 21. We are laser-focused on delivering vehicles and generating revenue.”

Russell said that the company began delivering Pre-Series Tre BEVs battery-electric trucks to customers and dealers and ramped up production in Coolidge in the fourth quarter of 2021.
