Pinal County pitched for semiconductor hub as suppliers jockey for space

When it became clear the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. plant in Phoenix would bring an influx of advanced manufacturing suppliers looking for locations in the Valley, Jackob Andersen, president of Saint Holdings, approached the Arizona Commerce Authority and suggested Pinal County as a location.

“Early on I had reached out to the ACA and suggested we have a campus for the suppliers at the Inland Port of Arizona in Coolidge,” Andersen said. “There was enough room to have all of them there together.”
