10 industrial buildings planned at Pecos, Hawes in Mesa

A 153,990-square-foot industrial development with 10 buildings is planned south of Pecos Road on the east side of the Hawes Road alignment in Mesa.

The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board recently voted unanimously in a consent agenda with other items to recommend the city council approve a site plan review and rezoning for a 13-acre parcel to light industrial and office commercial with a planned-area development overlay. Board member Jeffrey Crockett was absent.

The rezoning removes a bonus intensity zone overlay from the property, Planner Jennifer Merrill said during a study session prior to the board’s March 23 meeting.
